Conservation of built heritage
Third Year students got the opportunity of attending a Seminar conducted by ACA on “Conservation of built heritage a lonely journey in the world of redevelopment” by the renowned Conservation Architect Ar. Vikas Dilawari. The students were briefed about the approach towards conservation in Architecture and urban spaces and its relevance in todays time and in future. He also discussed about the future densities and need of conservation. His approach suggested that architects must work towards creating heritage for the future and simultaneously respect what we have inherited. He also discussed better means and sensitive means of adaptive reuse.
